Our House Sitting Routine
Every pet care provider defines house sitting differently. With us, you can expect a reliable, structured, and dedicated level of care designed to maintain your pet’s routine and provide peace of mind while you’re away.
We focus on creating a calm, consistent environment so your pets feel safe, comfortable, and understood. Our goal is to provide the same level of attention and affection they receive when you're home. You can travel confidently knowing your pets and home are in trustworthy hands.

Your pets will receive attentive and compassionate care tailored to their needs, including:
- Medication administration
- Feeding and fresh water
- Playtime and enrichment
- Yard/patio potty breaks
- Lots of cuddles and companionship

What We Request During a Stay
Our House Sitting Routine
We typically remain in the home 12–16 hours or more within a 24-hour period. We aim to be “in for the night” around 8 PM, ensuring your pets have companionship and comfort throughout the evening. The longest we are away from the home is up to 4 hours at a time, which allows us to:
- Take meal breaks
- Check-in on our own homes
- Provide brief services for other clients
If your pets require constant care (meaning very little to no time left unattended), please reach out. Depending on scheduling, We may be able to accommodate this. Continuous care is billed at twice the regular rate (or holiday rate, depending on your booking dates).

To provide the highest standard of care while staying in your home, we kindly request access to:
- A bed or couch with bedding
- Bathroom with a shower
- Home temperature controls
- Washer and dryer
- Microwave and dishwasher
- Space in the refrigerator/freezer
- Wi-Fi access
We also request permission to order food delivery to the home. If this is not allowed, I can make alternate arrangements.
Paw-Some Stay's owner special request: With your permission, Her 18-year-old daughter may accompany her during house-sitting stays. Her daughter is a Girl Scout, a High School honor-roll student, is kind, respectful, and responsible. During Christmas and New Year’s, She will only accept bookings that allow her daughter to be present.
